Welcome to the Southern Colorado Teacher Education Alliance (SCTEA) Web Site The SCTEA is a group of 25 partners joined in an effort to improve teacher quality in southern Colorado. Federal funding for many SCTEA initiatives occurs through a Federal Title II Teacher Quality Partnership Grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education. SCTEA Goals SCTEA has targeted six goals that when attained will improve student achievement through the comprehensive transformation of teacher education into a quality collaborative effort of PK-12 schools, institutions of higher education, and other stakeholders in the southern region of Colorado.
