The Upward Bound Program is a wonderful opportunity for students who are interested in going to college someday, but feel that goal cannot be pursued or achieved because of the financial aspect of tuition, fear, lack of confidence and/or lack of vision hopes and goals. It is with great pride that the Upward Bound Program is exactly what they are looking for. Services are provided in two different program components, the academic program component and the summer program component. The academic program begins in October and ends in May. During the summer program, students live at the dormitories for six weeks and receive enrichment classes, while our bridge students (seniors) receive six college credit hours. Fun and exciting events/activities are planned throughout the year as well as motivational, educational and athletic opportunities.

The Upward Bound Program is designed to encourage, educate and support the dreams of higher education. This program provides the necessary tools to be the best students they can be. At the same time they develop long lasting relationships and a network of support for their formative years in college. It is without a doubt that the Upward Bound Program can make an influential impact on the lives of students in accomplishing their dreams.
