I would like to start by saying "Thank you" to all the students for providing a warm, approachable and energizing environment to work in. This work has brought me much pleasure to my each and every day. Please know these feelings are generated by an outstanding, highly motivated and challenging group of Upward Bound students.

Through the program, I have become aware of the genuine depth of care and helpfulness each student places upon one another, as friends and fellow classmates. The team you are able to build will be a strength to you, as you walk through life, as you take on new and exciting challenges. All of you provide a wonderful support system.

My prayers for you are to take these challenges to heart and use them to follow your dreams. Take your caring spirit to reach many avenues you will come across. Enjoy life, enjoy learning, and enjoy the excitement that will come as you begin to reach your goals. Seriously, remember to have good times and most importantly, have faith in yourself. Remember that each and every one of you are strong role models and all are capable of succeeding.
