Who Can Participate?

• Upward Bound has room for 80 students with the academic potential to attend college.
  
  
• Students must come from families with a low-income level.
  
  • Family of four with a total income of less than $25,000 yearly
    
    
• High school students who come from families where neither parent has earned a four-year college degree.
  
  • First generation students
    
    
• Students must come from School Districts #60 and #70.
  
  
• Students must be between the ages of 13-19.
  
  
• Students must have and maintain a cumulative G.P.A. (grade point average) of 2.5 or better.
  
  
• Students who show potential and motivation towards earning a four-year college degree.
